Contrary to what most think, an air conditioner doesn’t produce cool air. Instead, it absorbs heat and transfers it outdoors. Much of this work is accomplished behind the scenes by an air conditioner’s evaporator and condenser coils. While these coils might look similar, they do very different things in the cooling process.
